This year's youth group mission trip was to the Crossroads Retreat Center in western New Jersey.  Gathering, meeting, and establishing close relationships.  Projects included- cooking and serving at a local food kitchen and packaging much needed food supplies at the Center for Food Action. View

Pedals for Progress

Over the past seven years St. John's has collected 1,000 bicycles to benefit the Pedals for Progress project (  The project provides economical, non-polluting transportation to help people in under-developed countries get to jobs, markets and schools.  View

2017 Holiday Fair

Friends, family, and neighbors of St. John’s came together at the annual Holiday Fair on December 1st and 2nd.  The festivities began with a Friday evening preview of the abundance of handmade crafts, gift baskets, baked goods and products from local artisans.  The fair continued Saturday with a luncheon café open to holiday shoppers. 2017 Youth Group Mission Trip

  Sixteen teens from our Youth Group participated in a week-long mission physically being the hands of God to help those in need.  Home base was the Crossroads Retreat Center with a different challenge each day: sorting food and repacking at the food bank of New Jersey, preparing and serving lunch at a soup kitchen, fishing with a family on respite, planting crops and weeding at a community farm.  Their reflections are expressed in this mission trip video. St. John's Chamber Ensemble

The newly established St. John’s Chamber Ensemble is made up of woodwind, brass and percussion instruments.  The regular members are currently in 5th - 8th grade, but we hope this will come to include 9th grade and beyond as our musicians grow up. Players with at least a year of playing experience are always welcome to join.   The ensemble works on a flexible rehearsal schedule which is based on upcoming performances. View

St. John’s multiple generations joined together on a Saturday morning to assemble 10,000 meals for the Rise Against Hunger program. Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, mobilizing the necessary resources to end hunger by 2030.
